The PTP 450b from Cambium Networks is a Subscriber and Backhaul Module that operates from 4.9 to 5.9 GHz. It delivers a Tx power of up to +27 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -94 dBm with a dynamic range of 54 dB. This 2x2 MIMO module delivers a data rate of up to 300 Mbps and has a channel width from 5 to 40 MHz. It can function as a Point-to-Point (PTP) link or as a Subscriber Module (SM) providing a deployment range of up to 64 km in PMP mode and up to 200 km in PTP mode. The PTP 450b is available in Mid-Gain (17 dBi), High-Gain (24 dBi), and Connectorized versions that have a 3 dB beamwidth of up to 15º (azimuth) and 30º (elevation).
This module has dual linear polarization and a latency of 3-5 ms. It has FIPS-197 128-bit AES & 256-bit AES (optional) encryption for security and supports QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM & 256QAM modulation schemes. The module can be controlled via a 100/1000 BaseT Ethernet and VLAN (802.1ad/Q/p) interface. It requires a DC supply of 20-32 V and consumes 12 W of power. The PTP 450b is available in an IP67/IP55 rated wind resistant (up to 200 kph) enclosure that measures 24 x 4 x 9 cm (connectorized), 12.5 x 24.8 x 12 cm (mid-gain) and Ø45 x 28 cm (high-gain).
