The PTP 78700 from Cambium Networks is a Fixed Wireless Backhaul Radio Link that operates from 7125 to 8500 MHz. It is software-tunable in 500 kHz increments for full support of NTIA and ETSI 7/8 GHz bands. The radio offers a data rate of up to 1 Gbps and has an integrated dual polarised flat panel antenna that provides a gain of 26 dBi. This microwave Line of Sight (MLOS) radio link supports 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, and 45 MHz channels and provides asymmetric and symmetric capacity on 1+0, 1+1 HSB, and 2+0 links. It delivers a transmit power of up to 30 dBm and has a range of up to 155 miles (250 Km). This wireless backhaul solution is ideal for video surveillance and land mobile radio backhaul.
The PTP 78700 supports a high-capacity multi-point (HCMP) module that can be used to connect 8 nodes. It offers interference/EW/Jammer avoidance with a Dynamic Spectrum Optimization (DSO) feature. The radio link offers excellent flexibility and spectral efficiency of up to 11.2 bps/Hz for Federal law enforcement and military tactical applications. It is available in two options – an integrated antenna unit that measures 401 x 4591 x 146 mm and a connectorized unit that measures 234 x 348 x 140 mm. It is ideal for military, surveillance, and tactical applications.
The PTP 78700 requires an AC+DC supply of 90-240 V and consumes under 70 W of power.
