The PTP 820S from Cambium Networks is a Point-to-Point Licensed Microwave Backhaul Radio operates from 6 to 38 GHz. It supports QPSK to 2048 QAM w/ACM modulation techniques in 1+0, 1+1 HSB and 2+0 configurations. The radio has a data rate of up to 833 Mbps with multi-layer compression. It offers both Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) and IEEEv2 synchronization protocols which are required for large ISP and MPLS networks. The radio requires a DC supply voltage of -48 V, supports Power-over-Ethernet (-48 v or +24 V) and consumes less than 40 W of power. It is available in an enclosure that measures 233 (W) x 230 (H) x 98 (D) mm with RJ-45 traffic and management interfaces.
