The WiBAS-G5 micro-BS from Intracom Telecom is a Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) Microwave base station for corporate and residential connectivity, operating in the 28 GHz licensed band. The radio provides a transmit power of up to 15 dBm and has a receiver sensitivity of as low as -82.3 dBm. It has a downlink data rate of up to 1.0 Gbit/s and an uplink data rate of up to 0.5 Gbit/s. This radio delivers state-of-the-art IP connectivity for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) networks and perfectly suits the operator needs for zero-footprint installations at hard-to-reach home and business subscriber locations.
Coupled with a compact omnidirectional antenna, it can be installed at the center of a village to serve any demanding subscriber within a large area footprint. The base station measuring 200 x 200 x 40 mm, can handle an input power of up to 43 watts.
