The LigoPTP RapidFire from LigoWave is an Outdoor Wireless Point-to-Point Bridge that operates from 5.9 to 6.4 GHz. It provides a Tx power of 30 dBm, has an Rx sensitivity of up to -97 dBm, and a data rate of up to 866 Mbps. This wireless bridge uses LigoWave’s proprietary W-Jet V protocol specifically engineered for high-performing PTP scenarios, that minimizes interference even across long distances and stabilizes latency within 2-4 ms. It has a 1.2 GHz CPU dedicated to data processing and delivers up to 200,000 packets per second. This wireless bridge can be controlled via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
The LigoPTP RapidFire has a robust mounting bracket that enables rapid deployment of the links and ensures survivability during high wind-load. It has an integrated antenna that can be rotated at 45° to increase installation flexibility, especially in noisy spectrum areas. This wireless bridge has a GORE membrane vent that allows fast pressure equalization that prevents condensation and ensures sealed performance. It requires a DC supply of 44-57 V and consumes 8.6 W of power. This wireless bridge also has an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE port that delivers an output of up to 48 V and a maximum power of 12.95 W. This PoE unit supports 1+1 (failover) or repeater link and has surge and ESD protection.
The LigoPTP RapidFire is available in a cast aluminum enclosure in 2 configurations: a 6-25 configuration that measures 379 x 387 x 51 mm with an integrated directional dual-pol 25 dBi panel connector or a 6-N configuration that measures 399 x 174 x 47 mm with 2 N-type connectors. It is ideal for all types of wireless networks and high-security video surveillance applications.
