The RADWIN NEO DUO is a low cost Dual-Carrier, Point-to-MultiPoint Beamforming Base Station that operates in the 5 GHz band. It has an integrated bi-directional (uplink and downlink) beamforming antenna that enables frequency reuse. This Point to MultiPoint solution provides best-in-class radio interference mitigation and wide coverage, superior to Access Points with a horn or uplink-only beamforming antenna.
The base station features PrimeCarrier for dynamic carrier selection per end-customer, ensuring service reliability and high-capacity in the heavily congested unlicensed spectrum for both uplink and downlink directions.
The NEO DUO provides an aggregate throughput of 1.5 Gbps over a 90 ° sector with fiber-like service and minimum spectrum usage. It has a configurable channel bandwidth of 10, 20, 40 and 80 MHz, and supports OFDM (BPSK/QPSK/16QAM/64QAM/256QAM) modulation schemes. With a maximum Tx power of 25 dBm, it has an operational range of up to 40 Km and supports MIMO 2x2, diversity, adaptive MIMO/diversity.
The base station has 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 and 1Gbps SFP data interfaces with support for 55 V Power-over-Ethernet (POE). It is available in an IP67-rated enclosure that measures 32.5 x 34.0 x 9.0 cm and consumes under 35 W of power.
The RADWIN NEO DUO has FCC, ISED and ETSI regulatory compliance.
