The AA-12G-2KWP from Advanced Amplifiers is a Pulsed Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1 to 2 GHz. It delivers a peak output power of more than 2 kW with a gain of over 63 dB and has a pulse width of up to 100 µs (duty cycle – 10%). This SSPA is based on a Class AB linear GaN design that is suitable for high-power pulse applications. It has spurious levels of up to -60 dBc and harmonics of less than -20 dBc. This amplifier is equipped with built-in control, monitoring, and protection circuits for high reliability and ruggedness during harsh environmental installations. It includes RJ-45 Ethernet, RS422/485 and USB interfaces.
The AA-12G-2KWP is available in a 6U rack-mount enclosure that measures 16.9 x 10.5 x 23.6 inches with N-type (female) input connectors and SC or 7-16 (female) output connectors. It complies with the MIL-STD-810F standard for shock, vibration and transportation. This SSPA requires a single-phase AC supply from 180 to 240 V.
