The SSPA 0.2-2.5-200 from Aethercomm is a high power GaN solid state power amplifier that operates from 0.2 to 2.5 GHz. It provides a nominal output power of 200 watts with a small signal gain of 60 dB and a power added efficiency 35-50% (CW conditions). It requires a 50 V supply voltage for operation. This SSPA can be blanked on and off in less than 10 uSec. Standard features include reverse polarity protection, output short and open circuit protection, and over/under voltage protection. Temperature is monitored and reported by this module along with other health parameters.

This module is designed and tested to withstand MIL-STD-810 high shock and vibration requirements. It is available in a module that measures 5" (w) x 9" (l) x 1.5" (h), weighs 5 lbs and is ideal for commercial, military and satellite communication applications. DC and logic connections are accessible via a DSUB connector. The RF input connector is SMA female and RF output connector is Type N female.
