The SSPA 2.5-6.0-50 from Aethercomm is a GaN RF Amplifier that operates from 2.5 to 6 GHz. It provides a saturated output power of 44.8 dBm with a small signal gain of 48 dB. It also features over/under voltage protection and reverse polarity protection with DC and Command voltages connected via a nine pin DSUB connector. The amplifier is enclosed within a base plate having 85 degrees C temperature and exhibits no degradation in the MTBF for the GaN device inside it. It is available in a module that measures 2.5 x 6.4 x 1 inches and is ideal for broadband, military platforms, and commercial applications because of the robust design, and offers high power over a multi-octave bandwidth.
