The AMT-A0431 from Agile Microwave Technology is a Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 1 to 40 GHz (useable up to 50 GHz). It provides a gain of more than 22 dB with a noise figure of less than 6.5 dB and has a P1dB of 14 dBm. The LNA is based on GaAs technology and utilizes AMTI’s proprietary matching technology. It requires a supply voltage of 8 V and consumes under 250 mA of current. The amplifier I/Os are internally matched to 50 ohms and are DC blocked. It is available in a module with 2.92 mm-female connectors and is ideal for use in communication systems, or where amplification is required without adding excessive noise in Hi-Rel communications system for Commercial or Military applications. The amplifier is also suitable for test equipment, fiber optic systems, 43 Gb/s OC-768, EW systems, lab applications, wideband gain block applications.
