The AS0204-100 from Ametek CTS is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2 to 4 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 110 W with a small signal gain of 46 dB and supports AM, FM, PM, and ODFM modulation formats. This class-A amplifier has harmonics of -20 dBc and spurious levels better than -70 dBc. It is 100% mismatch tolerant with no foldback and is calibrated using a dual-directional coupler. The SSPA is air-cooled with integral fans and is protected against faulty cooling by excess temperature sensing. It includes front panel indicators to indicate over-temperature and RF interlock conditions.
The AS0204-100 is available in a 19-inch 4U rackmount enclosure with N-Type (female) connectors and can be controlled via GPIB, RS232, Ethernet & USB interfaces. It is ideal for EMC standards, telecoms, and instrumentation testing applications. This amplifier requires an AC supply of 90-264 V and consumes less than 2 kW of power.
