The APT3-05400590-1010-LS-D4-FAC from AmpliTech is a Low-Noise Amplifier that operates from 5.4 to 5.9 GHz. It provides a gain of more than 28 dB, has a noise figure of less than 1 dB and a P1dB of over 10 dBm. An internal limiter at the provides protection against up to 2 W CW RF input power over the full band. It offers reverse voltage protection and requires a DC supply voltage from 5 to 15 V with a typical current consumption of 80 mA. The amplifier is MIL-883, MIL-45207 certified and is fabricated using state-of-the-art PHEMT technology. It is available in a module with coaxial connectors (hermitic seal option available) and is suitable for use in receiver front ends, radars, SATCOM, microwave radio systems, test equipment and telemetry applications.

There is provision for a fault alarm signal via one of the pins on the external MS3112E8-4P connector (used for power) that is triggered by a pre-defined change in current draw.
