ADCA3270 Image

The ADCA3270 from Analog Devices is a CATV DOCSIS 3.1 Power Doubler Amplifier that operates from 45 to 1218 MHz. It delivers a composite output power of 73 dBmV with a power gain of more than 22 dB. This amplifier is manufactured using advanced circuit design techniques with Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (pHEMT), and Gallium Nitride (GaN) HEMT technologies. It is designed to simplify the design and manufacturing of DOCSIS 3.1 infrastructure equipment. This power amplifier exhibits excellent linearity and provides unconditional stability resulting in consistent performance.

The ADCA3270 requires a DC supply of 24 V, consumes less than 500 mA of current, and allows both the DC current and supply voltage to be externally adjusted for optimum distortion performance vs. power consumption. It is available in a thermally enhanced Land Grid Array (LGA) package that measures 9.10 x 8.10 mm and is ideal for remote physical layer (PHY), DOCSIS 3.1, and CATV infrastructure applications.
