The ADPA7009-2 from Analog Devices is a GaAs pHEMT MMIC Power Amplifier that operates from 20 to 54 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 29 dBm (0.5 W) with a gain of up to 17.5 dB. This amplifier has an integrated temperature-compensated, on-chip power detector along with other external passive components like AC coupling capacitors and power supply decoupling capacitors. It requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 850 mA of current. The ADPA7009-2 has input and outputs internally matched and DC-blocked for ease of integration into higher-level assemblies. It is available in a 24-terminal LGA-CAV package that measures 5 x 5 mm and is ideal for military, space, and test instrumentation applications.
