The HMC717ALP3E from Analog Devices is a GaAs PHEMT MMIC Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 4.8 to 6 GHz. It provides an output P1dB of up to 18 dBm with a gain of 14.5 dB and has a noise figure of 1.1 dB. The amplifier requires a supply voltage of 3 to 5 V and consumes less than 100 mA of current. It is available in a 16 lead 3 x 3mm QFN package and is ideal for fixed wireless and LTE/WiMAX/4G basestation front-end receivers.
