The HMC797APM5E from ADI is a GaAs MMIC pHEMT Distributed Power Amplifier that operates from DC to 22 GHz. The amplifier provides a gain of 15 dB, a saturated output power of 31 dBm and PAE of 25% while requiring 400 mA of current from a 10 V supply. The HMC797APM5E amplifier I/Os are internally matched to 50 Ohms facilitating integration into mutli-chip-modules (MCMs). It is available in a 5 x 5 mm leadless QFN surface mount package and is ideal for military, space, EW, ECM, Radar and test equipment applications.
