The HMC8413 from Analog Devices is a GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 0.01 to 9 GHz. It delivers a gain of 19.5 dB with a noise figure of less than 2.8 dB and has a saturated output power of 22 dBm. This LNA is based on pHEMT technology and can also function as a local oscillator (LO) driver for balanced, in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) or image rejection mixers. It requires a supply voltage of 5 V and consumes 95 mA of current.
The HMC8413 is available in a 6-lead LFCSP package that measures 2.00 x 2.00 x 0.85 mm and is ideal for use in high-capacity microwave radio, test instrumentation, military communications, military radar, and telecommunications applications.
