The QB-925 from Spectrum Control is a hybrid driver amplifier that operates from 2 to 6 GHz. It provides an output power of 10 Watts with a gain of 21 dB and has a noise figure of 3 dB. This amplifier requires a supply voltage of 28 VDC and consumes 330 mA of current. The 2 stage discrete hybrid design consists of an input driver and a balanced final amplifier with independent gate and drain controls to allow for external optimization by setting the bias voltage. It is available in a laser sealed housing with drop-in pins that can withstand severe load mismatches at full rated power under adverse environmental conditions.
