The QBS-609 is a pulsed power GaN power amplifier that operates from 9 to 9.8 GHz. This solid state amplifier has been designed to replace traveling tube modules in the X-Band. It has been developed for Military and Commercial Radar Applications. The amplifier has a high efficiency of 20% with a 100 usec pulse width and 10% duty cycle. The amplifier requires a 28 V supply and provides a gain of over 60 dB. This amplifier is available in a module with SMA connectors.
