The 1000SP1G from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a solid-state broadband microwave amplifier that operates from 1 to 2 GHz. It is designed for pulsed applications with low duty factors where high gain is required. It provides more than 1000 W of peak output pulse power with a gain of more than 60 dB (1.5 dB flatness) and P1dB of 800 W. It has a pulse width of 0.07 to 50 microseconds and duty cycle of up-to 5%.
The amplifier's front panel digital display shows various power parameters along with extensive system status information that can be accessed through a series of menus via soft keys. Standard features include a built-in IEEE-488 (GPIB) interface, 0dBm input, TTL Gating, VSWR protection, gain control, RF output sample ports, plus monitoring of baseplate temperature and cabinet temperature. Modular design of the power supply and RF components allow for easy access and repair.
The 1000SP1G is available in a stylish cabinet of various sizes depending on the model number with Type-N female output port and Type-BNC female pulse input port. The system operate from 100-264 VAC 50/60Hz single phase AC source. It is ideal for Test and Measurement, (including EMC RF pulse susceptibility testing), Industrial and University Research and Development, and Service applications.
