'The 1000SP1z2G1z4 from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a self-contained, forced-air-cooled, solid-state amplifier that operates from 1.2 to 1.4 GHz. It delivers over 1000 watts of peak RF pulse power with a gain of more than 60 dB and a noise figure of 12 dB. The amplifier has been designed for applications where instantaneous bandwidth and high gain are required, making it ideal for RF pulse susceptibility testing, Industrial and University Research and Development, and Service applications.

It is available as a benchtop unit with N-type female connectors and has a digital front panel display that shows forward and reflected output plus extensive system status information which can be accessed through a series of menus via soft keys. It can also be rack mounted. The amplifier has a built-in IEEE-488 (GPIB), RS-232, USB & Ethernet interface.
