The 2000W1000D from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 80 MHz to 1 GHz. This self-contained, air-cooled amplifier, when used with an RF sweep generator, provides more than 2000 watts of power with a gain of over 63 dB. This amplifier has a Digital Control Panel (DCP) from where the gain and power level can be controlled. All amplifier control functions and status indications can also be viewed/controlled remotely using the GPIB/IEEE-488 format, RS-232, fiber optics, USB, or Ethernet.
This amplifier has been designed for applications where instantaneous bandwidth, high gain, and linearity are required. The 2000W1000D is housed in a single equipment rack that measures 22.1 x 69 x 38.4 inches with an N-type female connector at the input and type 1-5/8 female connector at the output. It provides readily available RF power for typical applications such as RF susceptibility testing, antenna, and component testing, watt meter calibration, and as a driver for frequency multipliers and higher power amplifiers.
