The Model 2000W1000E from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 80 to 1000 MHz. It delivers an output power of more than 2000 W with a gain of 69 dB and supports AM, FM, or pulse modulations. This class-A amplifier is 100% mismatch tolerant and has built-in fault monitoring & protection from input overdrive beyond 0 dBm as well as protection from various failure conditions including over-temperature and power supply faults. It has spurious emissions of -73 dBc and harmonic distortions of -30 dBc. The SSPA is ideal for use as a driver in testing wireless and communication components and also for EMC test applications where continued operation into high VSWR loads including open and short circuits is required.

The Model 2000W1000E has a front-panel touchscreen display that indicates the operational status and fault conditions. It can be controlled manually via a front panel display and remotely via GPIB/IEEE-488, RS-232, fiber-optic serial, USB, or Ethernet interfaces. It is available in a 26U, rack enclosure that measures 57.3 x 136.0 x 95.5 cm with N-type (female) and 1-5/8 EIA (output) connectors. This SSPA is ideal for 5G testing, EMC (military, aviation, automotive, commercial), radiated & conducted EMC testing, general purpose, antenna, and component testing applications.

The export classification for this SSPA is EAR99. It requires an AC (3-phase) supply and consumes less than 7 kW of power.
