'The 40S6G18B from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a portable, self-contained, air-cooled, solid-state microwave amplifier that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. It delivers over 40 watts of CW output power with a gain of more than 46 dB. The amplifier is ideal for RF susceptibility testing, antenna/component testing, and communication technology testing.
The amplifier is available as a benchtop unit with N-type connectors and has a digital control panel that uses a graphic Liquid Crystal Display, menu assigned softkeys, a single rotary knob, and a dedicated power on/off switch to offer extensive control and status reporting capability. It also has a gain control and input override protection. The amplifier has built-in IEEE-488 (GPIB), RS-232, USB & Ethernet interfaces.
