The 60S1G6 from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a portable, self-contained, air-cooled, solid-state microwave amplifier that operates from 0.7 to 6 GHz. It delivers over 60 watts of CW output power and has a gain of more than 48 dB with a noise figure of 10 dB. The low level of spurious signals and linearity make it ideal for use as a driver amplifier in testing wireless and communication components and subsystems. It can be used as a test instrument covering multiple frequency bands and is suitable for a variety of communication technologies such as CDMA, W-CDMA, TDMA, GSM etc. It is also suitable for EMC Test applications where undistorted modulation envelopes are desired.
It is available as a benchtop unit with N-type connectors and has a digital front panel display that shows forward and reflected output plus extensive system status information which can accessed through a series of menus via soft keys.
