'The 8000SP0z8G2z5 from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a self-contained, forced-air-cooled, solid-state microwave amplifier that operates from 0.8 to 2.5 GHz. It delivers over 8000 watts of pulse power with a gain of more than 69 dB. The amplifier is ideal for applications in Test and Measurement, (including EMC RF susceptibility testing), Industrial and University Research and Development, and Service applications.
It is available as a benchtop unit with N-type female connectors and has a front panel digital display that shows forward and reflected output plus extensive system status information which can accessed through a series of menus via soft keys. It can also be rack mounted. The amplifier has a built-in IEEE-488 (GPIB) interface.
