The AHL5216T8 from ASB is a Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 1.2 to 3 GHz. It provides a gain of 20 dB (@1.5 GHz), has a noise figure of less than 0.55 dB and a P1dB of over 19 dBm. The amplifier requires a supply voltage of 5 V and draws up to 65 mA of current. It has an active bias circuit that enables stable current consumption over temperature and process variations. This LNA also has power on/off control functions and passes the stringent DC, RF, and reliability tests.
This RoHS-compliant amplifier is available in a surface-mount TDFN8 package that measures 2 x 2 mm and is ideal for L-band, active antenna, and other low noise applications.
