The AM1102 from Atlanta Micro is a Cascadable Low Noise Amplifier that operates from DC to 22 GHz. It provides a gain of over 14 dB with a noise figure of less than 2.3 dB and has a P1dB of 15 dB. This gain block has an OIP3 of 26 dBm and requires a DC supply of 3.3 V for operation. The device exhibits moderate gain and excellent noise figure over a wide frequency range which makes AM1102 a useful component for many broadband applications. It is available in a 3 mm QFN package and is ideally suited for low SWaP applications.
