The BVA7242 from BeRex is a Digital Variable Gain Amplifier that operates from 3000 to 4200 MHz. It provides 34.5 dB of gain with a noise figure of 1.8 dB and an output P1dB of 20 dBm. This amplifier has an integrated 7-bit digital step attenuator (DSA) that provides an attenuation of 0-31.75 dB in 0.25 dB steps. It requires a DC supply from 3.3 to 5.25 V and consumes less than 170 mA of current. This amplifier can be controlled via a digital serial interface and has a power-down feature for power savings with Power Down (P/D) mode. It is available in an LGA package that measures 6.00 x 6.00 x 1.07 mm and is ideal for small cells, repeaters and 5G/4G/3G wireless infrastructure applications.
