The K4C7 Series from Communications & Power Industries (CPI) are C-band Klystron Power Amplifiers that operate from 5.850 to 7.075 GHz. These amplifiers provide an output power of up to 3.35 KW at the Klystron and 2.88 kW at the flange with a gain of more than 77 dB. They consist of a multi-stage depressed collector klystron that allows the amplifier to use less power and produce less heat than other high-power amplifiers. These amplifiers are integrated with a motorized channel selector, remote control panel, external band-reject filter, and an integral linearizer. They have a harmonic output of -80 dBc with filter, -35 dBc without filter, and a spurious of less than -70 dBc.
The K4C7 Series consists of a Scopescreen that provides a graphical log display and supports RS232, RS422/485, and Ethernet interfaces. This interface option helps to update and coordinate all clock settings and enables a snapshot feature where the user can create a file containing all settings, alarms, and faults at a single point in time. The amplifiers have large, high quality, and color graphical display which shows all important functions (included event log). They meet the EN-60215, EMC compatibility 2014/30/EU, and harmonic standard EN-61000-3-2. The amplifiers are available in the rackmount unit with N-Type (female) connectors at the input and CPR137 waveguide flange at the output. These amplifiers are ideal for satellite uplink communications.
The K4C7 Series require an AC supply of 208-415 V and consume less than 9.5 KW of power.
