The dB-3201H from dB Control is a Microwave Power Module (MPM) that operates from 30 to 38 GHz. It provides 125 W of Pulsed/CW output power with a gain of 51 dB and has a noise power density of -20 dBm/MHz. This MPM is a power amplifier that has a Parallel Resonant Frequency of 10 kHz and harmonics of up to -10 dBc. It consumes up to 900 W of power and has a VSWR of less than 2.5:1.
This MPM is conduction-cooled and the RF signal path consists of a solid-state amplifier and a vacuum power booster. The power supply topology uses a proprietary low-noise, high-efficiency design to operate the RF signal path. It features Helix Over-Current, Cathode Over-Voltage, and Over-Temperature TWTA protections along with equipment status and faults indicator. The device has discrete logic interface control and Differential or TTL modulation control.
The dB-3201H is available in a cabinet that measures 11 x 9.38 x 2.38 inches with a 2.92 mm Female connector at the input and a WR-28 Waveguide interface at the output. It is designed to operate in extreme military environments and is suitable for applications such as Electronic Countermeasures and Electronic Warfare Simulation.
