The dB-3202 from dB Control is a Microwave Power Module (MPM) that operates from 27.5 to 31 GHz. It delivers a CW output power of 200 W with a gain of over 53 dB. The RF signal path consists of a solid-state amplifier and a vacuum power booster. It has spurious levels of -50 dBc, and harmonics of less than -10 dBc. The power supply topology uses proprietary low-noise, high-efficiency designs to operate the RF signal path. It requires a DC supply of 28 V and consumes less than 900 W of power.
This compact, conduction-cooled MPM has a differential/TTL control interface and is designed to operate in extreme military environments. It is available in a module that measures 11.00 x 9.38 x 2.38 inches with Type-K/2.9mm (Female) connectors at the input and WR-28 waveguide interface at the output and is ideal for datalink applications.
