The AMP1049A from Exodus Advanced Communications is a solid state amplifier that operates from 2 to 6 GHz. It delivers an output power of more than 40 Watts with a gain of over 47 dB and a return loss of 10 dB. This GaN amplifier requires a supply voltage of 28 to 30 VDC and consumes up to 10 A of current. It is available as a compact module that measures 125 x 75 x 38 mm making it ideal for man-pack and EW applications. The amplifier has also been designed to be used with all single channel modulation standards and applications requiring high power and ultra-wide band coverage. It has built-in protection circuits, high reliability and ruggedness. Other typical applications include EMI/RFI and High Power Testing.
