The AMP1062 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a solid state power amplifier that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. This amplifier has been developed using a class AB linear GaN design and delivers a gain of more than 50 dB with an output power of 60 - 80 watts. The amplifier requires a supply voltage of 32 V DC and consumes up to 23 A of current. It is available in a rugged module that measures 180 x 200 x 27 mm with SMA female connectors. This SSPA is suitable for all modulation standards and has built-in protection circuits.
