The AMP1071-1 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a GaN Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2 to 12 GHz. This Class A/AB amplifier delivers over 20 W of output power with a gain of more than 43 dB. The amplifier has harmonics of under -20 dBc. It can be used for all single channel modulation standards. The 50-ohms amplifier requires a DC supply of 32 V and consumes less than 10 A of current.
This reliable and rugged amplifier has built-in protection circuits and is available as a connectorized module that measures 225 x 195 x 27 mm with high-frequency SMA-female connectors.
