The AMP1074-9 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 1 to 18 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 10 W with a gain of over 40 dB (±5 dB p-p). This class AB amplifier has built-in protection circuits and a VSWR of less than 3:1. It requires a DC supply voltage of 32 V and draws up to 5 A of current. The amplifier is available in a rugged module that measures 160 x 140 x 27 mm with SMA female connectors and is suitable for all single channel modulation standards.
