The AMP1077A from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-state Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 18 GHz. It delivers an output of more than 5 W with a gain of over 37 dB. The amplifier is based on a Class A/AB linear design and is suitable for all single channel modulation standards. It has spurious levels of under -60 dBc and harmonics of better than -25 dBc. The SSPA can handle an input power of up to 10 dBm, operates over a DC supply of 32 V and consumes less than 2 A of current. It is available in a module that measures 130 x 90 x 27 mm with SMA-female connectors.
