The AMP1082-2 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a GaN Solid State Low Noise Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 20 GHz. This low noise amplifier model provides over 1 W of nominal P1dB with a gain of more than 33 dB. It exhibits spurious of up to -60 dBc, and harmonics of up to -20 dBc. The amplifier has built-in protection circuits and requires an external heat sink for cooling. It is available in a rugged module that measures 90 x 85 x 22 mm with SMA female connectors and is suitable for all single channel modulation standards.
