The AMP1090 from Exodus Communication is a Class AB solid state amplifier that operates from 3 to 8 GHz. This amplifier provides an output of more than 8 W (CW) with a gain of over 40 dB and flatness of 3 dB. It can be used for all channel modulation standards. The amplifier requires a 30 V supply and draws 2.5 Amps of current. It is available in a rugged, high reliability module that measures 100 x 100 x 27 mm with SMA female Type Connectors.
