The AMP1147 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a solid state high power amplifier that operates from 0.5 to 6 GHz. It delivers an output power of more than 10 Watts with a gain of over 40 dB and has a rise/fall time of less than 5 µs. This Class AB linear GaN amplifier requires a supply voltage of 32 VDC and consumes up to 3.5 A of current. It is available as a compact module that measures 125 x 75 x 24 mm with SMA female connectors. This SSPA can be used with all single channel modulation standards, has built-in protection circuits and an instantaneous wide bandwidth.
