The AMP2024A from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 20 to 1000 MHz. This amplifier delivers a CW/Pulsed output power of more than 200 W with a power gain of over 53 dB. It is based on the Class A/AB ultra-linear design that results in high power, high efficiency, excellent reliability, and ruggedness. This SSPA has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. It has protection circuits with an extensive set of parameters for monitoring such as voltage, current, VSWR, output power, noise levels, and temperature.
The AMP2024A has a local LCD interface for local monitoring along with Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485, and USB interfaces to remotely monitor the signal parameters. It requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes less than 1kW of power. This SSPA is available in a 3U rack-mount enclosure that measures 430 x 133 x 560 mm with N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for use in EMI/RFI testing, lab, CW/Pulse, and other communication applications.
