The AMP2068P-LC-6KW from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 500 MHz to 2 GHz. It delivers a peak pulsed output of 6 kW with a gain of more than 68 dB. This Class AB linear amplifier has an input pulse width of up to 100 µS with a maximum duty cycle of 6%. It has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. The SSPA is equipped with built-in protection circuits, and pulse fidelity and provides extensive monitoring parameters for forward/reflected power in Watts & dBm, VSWR, voltage, current, and temperature. The amplifier also features Exodus’ quiet-cool technology for closed-circuit air-liquid cooling.
The AMP2068P-LC-6KW has an LCD control panel and can also be controlled remotely. It is available in a rack-mounted 13U-chassis that measures 1080 x 600 x 717 mm with N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for use in broadband EMI/RFI, lab, pulse/HIRF, Mil-Std 461/464, and Radar applications. The SSPA requires an AC supply from 200-240 V and consumes less than 3.5 kW of power.
