The AMP2070A from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 6 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 150 W with a power gain of over 52 dB. The amplifier has a class A/AB linear design and includes built-in protection circuits with extensive monitoring for forward/reflected power, VSWR, voltage, current & temperature sensing for excellent reliability and ruggedness. It is manufactured using high-power advanced technology, has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc.
The AMP2070A has a local LCD screen with Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485, and USB interfaces. It is available in a rack-mount enclosure that measures 430 x 133 x 560 mm with N-type (female) connectors. The amplifier has built-in fan-cooling technology and can operate at ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 ºC. It has been designed for use in EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse, and all communication applications.
The SSPA requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes less than 1.5 kW of power.
