The AMP2074P-LC-8KW from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 2.5 GHz. It delivers a saturated pulsed output power of more than 8 kW with a power gain of over 69 dB and gain adjustment range of 20 dB. This amplifier is based on a Class A/AB GaN linear design with high-power advanced features that offer instantaneous wide bandwidth in a small form-factor. It has spurious levels of -60 dBc and harmonics of less than -20 dBc. This SSPA has built-in protection circuits and ensures high reliability with extensive monitoring of operating parameters.
The AMP2074P-LC-8KW has a local LCD along with remote flexible interfaces such as RJ45 Ethernet TCP/IP, RS422/485, USB, and an optional GPIB for remote monitoring. It has a closed-circuit air-liquid cooling mechanism with an operating temperature range from 0° to +50°C. This SSPA is available in a 18U rack-mount enclosure that measures 1080 x 800 x 600 mm with N-type (female) connector for the input and 7/16 DIN connector at the output side. It is ideal for EMI/RFI, labs, and HIRF/Pulse applications.
This SSPA requires an AC supply from 200 to 240 V and consumes less than 4 kW of power.
