The AMP2080-LC-10KW from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 10 kHz to 250 MHz. It delivers a saturated pulsed output power of more than 12 kW with a power gain of over 70 dB and a gain adjustment range of 20 dB. This amplifier is based on a Class A linear design with high-power advanced features that offer instantaneous wide bandwidth in a small form factor. It has spurious levels of better than -60 dBc and harmonics of less than -20 dBc. This SSPA has built-in protection circuits and ensures high reliability with extensive monitoring of operating parameters.
The AMP2080-LC-10KW has a local LCD and remote flexible interfaces such as RJ45 Ethernet TCP/IP, RS422/485, USB, and an optional GPIB for remote monitoring. It has a closed-circuit air-liquid cooling mechanism with an operating temperature range from 0° to +50°C. This SSPA is available in a 2 x 45U rack-mount cabinet enclosure that measures 600 x 1760 x 1100 mm and has an N-type (female) connector for the input and an EIA 1 5/8 (female) connector at the output side. It is ideal for EMI/RFI, labs, and general communication applications.
This SSPA requires an AC supply of 220/380 V and consumes less than 20 kW of power.
