The AMP2080D from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 10 kHz to 250 MHz. It delivers a CW output power of 700 W with more than 57 dB of gain. This Class A/AB linear amplifier has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. It is equipped with built-in protection circuits with extensive monitoring parameters for forward/reflected power in Watts & dBm, VSWR, voltage, current and temperature. The amplifier also features Exodus’ quiet-cool technology for closed circuit air-liquid cooling.
The AMP2080D has an LCD control panel and can also be controlled remotely. It is available in a rack-mounted 8U-chassis that measures 430 x 354 x 650 mm with N-type female connectors and is ideal for use in broadband EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse, and all communication applications. The SSPA requires an AC supply from 180-240 V and consumes less than 4.5 kW of power.
