The AMP2082LC from Exodus Advanced Communication is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 1 to 2.5 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 1000 W with a power gain of over 60 dB. The amplifier has a Class A/AB linear design and uses high-power advanced devices that provide high efficiency with excellent reliability and ruggedness. It includes built-in protection circuits with extensive monitoring for forward/reflected power, VSWR, voltage, current & temperature sensing for excellent reliability and ruggedness. The SSPA has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of better than -20 dBc. It is suitable for all signal channel modulation applications.
The AMP2082LC has Ethernet RJ-45, TCP/IP, RS422/485 and USB interfaces (GPIB optional) for remote control. It is available in a rack-mounted enclosure that measures 430 x 311 x 600 mm with N-Type (female) and 7/16 DIN connectors and is designed for use in EMI/RFI, lab, and general communication applications.
The SSPA requires a 3-phase AC supply voltage from 180 to 240 V and consumes less than 4500 W of power.
