The AMP2083P-2KW from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Pulsed Solid-state Power Amplifier that operates from 4 to 8 GHz. It delivers a peak output power of 2 kW with a gain of more than 63 dB and has a pulse width of up to 100 us. This Class AB amplifier has a duty cycle of up to 6% and peak rise/fall times of less than 50 ns. It provides a linear performance with spurious levels less than -60 dBc and harmonics better than -20 dBc. The SSPA is equipped with in-built circuits that offer input protection of up to 10 dBm. It also includes monitoring parameters for forward/reflected power, VSWR, as well as voltage, current, and temperature sensing for smooth operations.
The AMP2083P-2KW has local LCD and remote-control interfaces that include Ethernet RJ-45, RS422/485, USB, and an optional GPIB interface. It is available in a 5U rack-mount enclosure that measures 8.75 x 19.00 x 25.00 inches with N-type and BNC (Female) connectors. The amplifier is ideal for use in pulse/HIRF, EMC/EMI Mil-Std 461/464, and radar applications.
The amplifier requires an AC supply voltage from 100-240 V and consumes less than 1 kW of power.
