The AMP2084 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a solid state GaN amplifier that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. It delivers an output power of more than 80 watts with a gain of above 50 dB and has a return loss of over 10 dB. This Class AB amplifier requires a supply voltage of 180 to 240 VAC. It is available in a rack mount unit that measures 19 x 8.75 x 22.5 inches with SMA female connectors and weighs 30 kg. The AMP2084 has built-in protection circuits and is suitable for all single channel modulation standards and for EW, EMI/RFI and High Power Testing applications.
