The AMP2085-1 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a GaN Power Amplifier that operates from 2 to 8 GHz. It provides an output power of more than 120 W with a gain of over 51 dB and excellent flatness compared to TWT’s. It can operate in both CW / Pulsed mode and supports all single channel modulation standards. It can be controlled from the front panel LCD display or via remote interfaces. The amplifier has Forward/Reflected power monitoring, VSWR, voltage/current/temperature sensing for superb reliability and ruggedness. It is available in a rack-mount package that measures 432 x 178 x 560 mm or 4U with N-Female connectors and 9-pin D-Sub interface. This amplifier has a built-in variable-speed fan cooling and it’s suitable for EMI/RFI, lab, and general communications applications. It is ideal for replacing TWT Amplifiers. The amplifier requires an AC supply of 100-240 V and consumes less than 1000 W of power.
